This plant is known mostly for its euphoric and mild psychoactive properties. Wild Dagga is perennial shrub most commonly found in South Africa and is part of the mint plant species Lamiaceae. Although traditionally smoked, Wild Dagga can be used as a tea by itself or mixed with other herbs such as Damiana and Chamomile.
In folklore/traditional medicinal use: possibly can reduce pain & inflammation, can be calming and useful in depression and anxiety. In small amounts wild dagga could cause euphoria, visual changes, dizziness and in some people nausea. With higher amounts, effects are more pronounced and has a strong sedative effect. Some people report wild dagga effects as a legal substitute to Cannabis. Leaf, stems and flowers (not ground into powder) arrive in a kraft glassine lined ziplock pouch.
